Theresa Goodwin

Theresa Goodwin was born in Chicago, Illinois but split a lot of her time growing-up in both Chicago and Lafayette, Indiana. It was during that time as a child that she discovered her love for culture, the arts and design.
Upon moving to Indianapolis in 2001 to attend IUPUI, Theresa held various jobs in the hospitality and event planning industries doing sales and marketing. These jobs (and a few others in-between) allowed her to express her creativity and gain the valuable industry experience on how to become a leader and an effective business owner.
Theresa graduated from Herron School of Art and Design with a bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication. In late summer of 2011, she co-founded BoldThink. Since its founding, Theresa has added various clients to BoldThink’s portfolio including HDG Mansur, Draco Logistics, Shiel Sexton and Full Circle Hardwood Floors. She continues to enjoy every minute of every day, learning new things from clients and their businesses.

What’s your idea of the perfect day?
My family, a beach, no TV or internet and a good book. Oh— and a forgotten cell phone!
What’s on your playlist at work?
I’m an 80′s child so I’ve definitely got a broad music library. Most days it’s music like Coldplay, David Gray, Cat Power and Adele. Other days it’s Maroon 5 and Train. When I need a little pick-up, there is nothing better than some old hair band music like Guns and Roses, AC/DC, Poison and Def Leppard.
Where do you like to go for inspiration?
I tend to take walks when I need to be inspired. Sometimes I get so bogged down by the computer and what I’m doing that it’s nice to just turn it off for a few hours. Once I stop trying to think, the ideas just come to me. I also make it a point to leave the computer behind and just bring a notebook and a pen. That really helps too.
Justin Zalewski

Justin is BoldThink’s ninja web developer and savvy programmer. He lives in Carmel but is originally from Farmington Hills, Michigan. Justin came to Indiana while studying at Indiana Wesleyan University where he received his bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design.
You will find that Justin fits in perfectly at BoldThink with his laid-back nature and his love for family. He is serious about design, loves the programming aspects of digital branding and sees the limitless possibilities that the web brings to us.
Justin lists among his three indispensable skills: being levelheaded, grilling a mean burger and being an embarrassingly good Rock Band drummer.
As you learn more about Justin, you will quickly understand that he simply loves what he does and will always go above and beyond for our clients. His free time, although he doesn’t have much in his busy work schedule, include lounging around with family and friends and enjoying a good movie with his wife.

What were your childhood dreams?
I was a big nerd and I wanted to make video games.
Who are your favorite artists, authors, books, movies, and/or musicians?
Whew. This is a big one.
I’m a big Kurt Vonnegut fan—I think I’ve read everything he ever published. I love his style of writing and (somewhat dark) sense of humor.
I’m really into Wes Anderson and Coen Brothers movies for pretty much the same reasons. The Royal Tenenbaums is probably my favorite movie.
What’s your favorite drink?
I drink an almost unhealthy amount of orange juice.
What’s your favorite café, place to eat or drink?
At home! Love my wife’s cooking! …also, Chick-Fil-A.
