Theresa believes that any brand’s journey begins with getting to the heart of the brand and understanding its true essence. Only then can a company develop strategically and align the business needs and goals to what differentiates itself from the competition. Theresa found her true calling in the Visual Communication program at Herron School of Art and Design. She focused on innovative problem solving techniques, creative processes and innovative approaches to solving organizational and social problems through design thinking.
It’s second nature for Theresa to talk about various branding and marketing challenges that many companies are facing today and translates those into action items. She has been known to help clients achieve greater brand awareness, find differentiation in cluttered markets and has a knack at helping even the most resistant company find their true message and story.

As COO, Joel’s responsibilities center on process, agency and client interactions. Essentially, he makes sure that everything is running smoothly. Joel has a keen focus on where the creative and analytical coexist. He believes that where these two areas meet is where the magic happens for brands. He is a researcher of all things, probably as a result of his 20+ years as a biologist at a Fortune 500 pharma company.
With our clients, he is known as the relationship builder and is often called upon to think through strategy and to get to the heart of any project. He also brings a sense of calm and clarity to any given situation. When he can get away from the office, he explores all things bourbon, motorcycles, and cigars… or his ever-expanding interest in making things.

Aliyah is Boldthink’s dedicated Account Manager. She received her bachelor’s degree in public relations & advertising from the University of Central Florida (go Knights!), quickly diving into agency life post-graduation. She began working at a boutique public relations and business development agency in Fort Lauderdale before moving her career toward a digital marketing manager position at an Orlando-based marketing and advertising office. Committed to her team and clients, Aliyah thrives on orchestrating all moving pieces of a project, her attention to detail and constant drive to deliver results. She also holds a certification in Google Analytics.
When she’s not making sure Boldthink’s clients’ needs are met, Aliyah occupies the status of full-time dog mom to her Yorkie-Schnauzer, Snikers, as well as exploring her new home in Indy. If you’re looking for her — she loves all things wine, sushi, travel, and coffee, so a local wine bar or an airport gateway terminal are both safe places to start.

Erika Parsons has worked in the shadows as a ghostwriter of numerous best-selling books for more than 20 years. Now, she is using her creativity to manage the projects at BoldThink. Her background in the publishing world helps her understand the need for strategic approaches to design and creative projects. Her goal is to oversee performance with a clearly defined process-driven philosophy of management.
When Erika isn’t busy writing or taking care of BoldThink’s clients, you can find her on the couch nursing a serious Netflix addiction with a glass of red vino at her side.

As Boldthink’s video and media consultant and founder and President of Digital Stories Media Group in Indianapolis, Lisa has spent thirty years exploring, writing and sharing the stories of others. She values each and every relationship and is the best listener we know. Lisa is a stickler for finding a client’s authentic voice, doing reliable research and defining a client’s message and brand. She will not rest until the client says, ‘Well done.”
Having been a video journalist in Moscow, Russia and through her experience in teaching, advertising, television and marketing, she has a broad business perspective and vast knowledge in various roles. Her favorite is being mom to 5 children. Lisa is a native Hoosier and loves Indianapolis as if it were her 6th kid.
